The campaign still needs you to write in to planners and councilors with your objections to the various schemes the Craighouse Partnership keep submitting. So please do.
What about the alternatives for the site?
There is an alternative that saves the buildings and the grounds! A group of local businesspeople are forming a community organization to put together a plan to buy out the site. These kinds of projects are incredibly successful and surprisingly easy to fund. Look at some other communities and groups that have saved buildings.
We have drawn up an initial outline document to give you an idea of what our plans are. Why not get involved? We need a whole range of skills to join us for what is looking like a very exciting project! Contact Andrew Richards, email@example.com.
Make sure you check this website regularly, or sign up to our email list by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org. The developers could put in a planning application at any time, and we could end up with only 21 days to respond.
It is good to make your local councilors aware of your concern.
If you have any useful information about the developers or their plans that you would like to share with us, then please email us at email@example.com. We would love to find out more information about who these developers are, and what projects they have done in the past. This can help the community make a judgement about how well they will manage to develop this beautiful historic place.
